✅ UPDATE: WATER SERVICE RESTORED – SPRING VALLEY![]()
The water main break on the east end of town has been successfully repaired, and water service should now be back to normal pressure for all affected residents.![]()
Residents may want to run their faucets for a few minutes to clear any air or discoloration in the lines.![]()
Those residents who had no water will be under a boil order until a sample can be taken and tested. ![]()

The City of Spring Valley is currently responding to a 10-inch water main break on the east end of town, affecting the area from Cleveland Street to Webster Park.![]()
Residents in this area should expect no water or very low water pressure at this time.![]()
City crews have located the leak and are actively working to resolve the issue. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available regarding restoration.![]()

With spring here, it’s important to stay informed and prepared for severe weather. Here’s what you need to know:![]()
🚨 Outdoor Warning Sirens
• Spring Valley has 4 sirens across town
• Used for: tornadoes, severe thunderstorms, damaging winds, and hail
• 🚧 One siren is currently being repaired after mechanical issues (we’re working to fix it ASAP)![]()
🕙 Monthly Siren Test
• ⏰ First Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
• ⏱️ Lasts about 3 minutes (same as a real warning)![]()
⚠️ During Severe Weather
• Sirens may be activated by Police, Fire, or IVRD 911
• Weather spotters help monitor conditions
• 🚫 There is NO “all clear” siren
👉 If you hear the siren again, take cover again![]()
